When I was a kid, every summer we drove from Florida to NH and we would always stop at Stuckey’s to get pecan log rolls to take to my grandmother.

I vividly remember road trips from New Jersey to Florida with my family and the many Stuckey’s signs along the way, and the anticipation and satisfaction of finally reaching the destination of the Stuckey’s store. I’ve been following Stephanie’s journey since she revived her family’s company, wish her all the success in the world, and look forward to reading her book. Great guest column, Rolando!

Rolando, thanks SO MUCH for this post. Like many folks my age, I have fond memories of stopping at Stuckey's on family vacation trips. It's been years. I enjoyed seeing the product at a store in 2023, but didn't buy -- I'm holding out for a Pecan Log! I think I'll get one soon -- I am adding the Johnson City store to our upcoming trip, between St louis and Memphis.
